Wylde is operated by Tosemum Holdings LLC, based in Surprise, Arizona. We built Wylde to connect active singles through shared activities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Wylde app and website at wyldeapp.com.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

Name, email address, date of birth, and password when you create an account
Profile photos you upload
Activities, fitness intensity level, and availability you select
Bio and preferences you enter
Messages you send to other users

Information collected automatically:

Location data (with your permission) to show nearby matches and activity spots
Device type and operating system for app compatibility
App usage data to improve the experience

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To match you with compatible active singles based on your activities and preferences
To show you nearby users and activity locations on the map
To send you match notifications and messages
To improve and personalise the Wylde experience
To comply with legal obligations

4. Your Data Is Never Sold

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Period. We do not allow advertisers to target you based on your profile data. Wylde does not serve advertisements.

5. Who We Share Data With

We share data only where necessary to operate the service:

Supabase — our database and authentication provider (data stored in US data centres)
Mailchimp — email marketing for waitlist and product updates (only your email address)
Stripe — payment processing for Wylde Premium subscriptions (we never store card details)
Law enforcement — only if legally required by a valid court order or to protect safety

6. Location Data

We only access your location when you grant permission. We use approximate location to show you matches within your selected distance. We never share your exact location with other users — they only see distance (e.g. "2.4 mi away"). You can turn off location access at any time in your device settings.

7. Age Requirement

Wylde is for adults 18 years of age and older. We verify age at signup. If we discover a user is under 18, we will immediately delete their account and all associated data.

8. Your Rights (CCPA — California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

Know what personal data we hold about you
Request deletion of your personal data
Opt out of the sale of your data (we do not sell data)
Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

9. Delete Your Account

You can delete your Wylde account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen in the app. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by law.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and restricted access to your data. However, no system is 100% secure — we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Wylde evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Wylde after changes means you accept the updated policy.
