You can permanently delete your Wylde account and its data at any time, directly inside the app. No email or phone call needed.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Wylde and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Account.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete account.
- Read what will happen, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.
What happens when you delete
- Your profile is anonymized and your photos are deleted: your name, bio, birth date, location, and activities are removed.
- You disappear from Discover, the map, and search immediately.
- Your matches are closed for good.
- Messages you already sent remain in the other person's conversation history, no longer linked to an identifiable profile.
- Your login is disabled and cannot be restored — deletion is permanent.
Data kept temporarily
- Safety exception: if one of your photos is attached to an open safety report, that photo is retained until the report is resolved, then deleted.
- Backups and logs: residual copies in routine database backups cycle out automatically over a limited period.
Can't access the app?
If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email privacy@wyldeapp.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion.
